This article serves as a reference point for the constraints and limitations of the Virginia Cyber Range.

Technical Constraints & Limitations

  1. What are the CPU and memory settings of my Range virtual machines... and can I get more?

  2. What are the network and internet limits placed on my Range virtual machines?

  3. For the best experience with exercise environments in the Cyber Range, we recommend a display resolution of 1920x1080.

Policy/Process Constraints

  1. Account Permission Comparison: Instructor, TA, and Student

  2. We currently address requests for additional resources on a case-by-case basis for users that do not find the allocated CPU, Memory, or Hard Drive resources sufficient. Please contact support@virginiacyberrange.net to make this request.
