CloudCTF Challenge Management¶
This KB article will cover the various challenge management features available in CloudCTF. If you have not yet created a CloudCTF environment, please see the article titled Creating a CloudCTF Environment and the section titled Launching a CloudCTF Environment for more information.
How to Create a Challenge¶
Creating Challenges From Scratch¶
CTF Admins have the ability to create custom challenges from scratch in CloudCTF. For a detailed look into creating challenges from scratch, please see the article titled Creating Challenges From Scratch. For a more in-depth look at creating multiple choice challenges, please see our article titled Multiple Choice Challenges for more information.
Adding a Challenge From the Challenge Library¶
CloudCTF comes with an extensive CTF challenge library that allows instructors to import pre-made challenges directly into a CTF environment. While the challenge library comes with a variety of challenges to choose from, instructors also have the ability to save custom challenges to their own personal library, which can be added to a CTF in the same way.
To learn more about adding challenges from the challenge library, please see the section titled Adding Challenges From the Challenge Library.
How to Edit a Challenge¶
For a detailed look into editing challenges, please see the article titled Editing Challenges.
How to Remove a Challenge¶
To learn more about removing challenges that have been added from the challenge library or created from scratch, please see the section titled Removing Challenges.
How to Save a Challenge to the Challenge Library¶
CTF Admins have the ability to save custom challenges to their own personal library for future competitions. This enables instructors to carry over their custom challenges to other courses in the Cyber Range. To learn more about saving your custom challenges, please see the article titled Saving Custom Challenges to the Challenge Library.
Challenges added to your personal library are not visible to other Cyber Range Admins within your organization.
